Storyline

Millions of people speak to God. What if God spoke back? Life just got a hell of a lot more confusing for teenage Joan Girardi, who already deals with feeling out of place in her family : her police chief father, her somewhat overbearing mother, her geeky younger brother and former football star older brother, now paralyzed. They'd never believe her if she told them that God is talking to her. Does Joan have a higher purpose on earth, or are these strange conversations just in her head? Written by Ted Weiland

GREAT SHOW!!!
12 November 2004 | by (South Carolina) – See all my reviews

I think its a wonderful show that is allowing our youth to bring God back into their lives. It's been too long now that God was "out". I think this show is going to reintroduce religion to our children. It's got a modern twist, but in all it teaches us about decisions, death and how to make our lives and the world around us a better place! I think it's about time for something of this genre to come into the mainstream. The cast is wonderful.

Everyone down to the guest appearances makes this show what it is... Wonderful! Joan seems to struggle a lot with what God asks of her, but this allows us to relate to her, because we all at times struggle with that same thing. I hope this show keeps running for many, many years. I highly recommend it to anyone who want's to feel connected with the world. This is a show to look forward to each week.
