'300 Millones' was a weekly Spanish TV programme run between 26 June 1977 and 1983, featuring different music performances, interviews, reports and competitions. The title of the programme refers to the number of Spanish- speaking people in countries all over the world ie. 300 million. The series ran in 18 Spanish-speaking countries (Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Antillas, Panamá, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, República Dominicana, Puerto Rico, México and Guinea Ecuatorial) as well as in Japan (on channel NHK) and the USA. Each episodes were around 1 hour long.
