Sex & Nudity

Sex & Nudity: 2/10

A man says to his mother that his stepfather once "touched" him, but quickly redacts his statement saying it was a joke and that he shouldn't have said that.

A man scratches his crotch.

A man and woman make love in back of the screen.

Ed often makes jokes that he is attracted to Shaun's mother.

A man makes a sexual gesture with his hands and tell that the woman in bar is a porn star.

A main character wears a shirt that says "I got wood" throughout the film, makes a brief mention of "eating out" a woman and periodically makes suggestive jokes.

Violence & Gore

Violence & Gore: 8/10

Frequent zombie blood, violence, and some gore, although a vast majority of the violence is comical and/or parodistic in nature.

In one scene, a man is seen being disemboweled and dismembered by zombies. Both of his legs are ripped off too.

A man shoots his mother who has turned into a zombie; we briefly see a large bloody exit wound at the back of her head.

Most of the violence is either comical or bloody

It was rated 15 for very strong language and frequent bloody horror but luckily i didn't get an 18

Profanity

Profanity: 10/10

77 fuck's 7 uses of "shit", 7 uses of "prick" (one in text), 2 uses of "ass", 3 religious exclamations, 2 uses of "cocksucker", 2 uses of "twat", 2 uses of "wanker" and 2 obscene hand gestures (one sexual).1 use of cunt

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: 3/10

Adults are shown drinking beer and liquor and smoking cigarettes. Two men are shown to be clearly inebriated in one scene.

Many scenes take place in a pub.

A man says that his friend "sells a little bit of weed every now and then", and another man briefly mentions how he once sold marijuana to a friend.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: 6/10

The theme of zombies and the violence could be considered to be moderately scary to some audiences.

The violence is sometimes bloody and can be intense, however the comic overtones of the movie often lessen the impact.

There is one scary scene where a man gets eaten alive. This is very frightening.

*IMPORTANT* - THE GORE AND VIOLENCE IN THIS MOVIE IS PLAYED OUT TO BE COMICAL, THE SCENE WITH THE MAN BEING RIPPED APART IS SCARY BUT THE COMEDY OVERTONE MAKES IT LESS FRIGHTENING TO WATCH.

The death of one particular character (Shaun's mum) is very emotional.

This isnt a typlical horror comedy this film is a type of film that makes it less sad to watch because of the comic violence

13 and up.

Total explicit content estimation: 26/50
