Take this one with a grain of salt, gang, as this seems to be third hand information. But according to a “DC insider” Wonder Woman is a mess.
“So, I don’t want to throw anyone under the bus. We have somebody within our community who has gotten insider information that broke my effing heart this week, because I have tremendous belief that Wonder Woman is gonna be awesome and I heard it stinks from the same person who told me that they heard that BvS stinks…The person who I spoke to…their response was ‘I’m very disappointed in what I saw, and it seems like all the problems are the same problems. It’s discombobulated, »

French movie magazine Studio Ciné Live (via Batman-News and Les Toiles Héroïques) has unveiled four brand new images from DC’s Wonder Woman, which were taken while the movie was filming in Palinuro, Italy. The images give an insider’s look at director Patty Jenkins speaking with actresses Gal Gadot and Connie Nielsen on the location’s beaches during production. See them below…
What’s even more interesting is that the outlet spoke with Chris Pine, who gave up some never-before-revealed details about his role as Steve Trevor and how he winds up on the Amazons’ island of Themyscira. “I play a pilot who works for the Allies and spies on the Germans without their knowledge,” said the actor. “My character steals a notebook filled with scientific formulas in an Ottoman base, he steals a plane but is shot down in the open sea.”

Here’s the first look at Baby Driver, the new movie from Sony Pictures which is due to hit our cinema screens in the summer. Baby Driver is an action movie which sees a young getaway driver actually named ‘Baby’ (Ansel Elgort – Shailene Woodley‘s geeky brother Caleb in the Divergent movies) fall in love with Downton Abbey / Cinderella’s Lily James and attempt to turn away from his life of crime.
It’s not too long however before crime boss (Kevin Spacey) forces him return to the life he’s so desperately trying to leave behind. The movie sounds like many we’ve seen before but with a cast this prominent, it’s hard not to get excited about it. And did we mention that Edgar Wright has written and directed? That makes it all very much more interesting right?! Very excited to see what the »

Zack Snyder spoke to USA Today in an effort to hype up both Wonder Woman and his upcoming mega-blockbuster Justice League, specifically commenting on the character mindset of Diana Prince in her origin story versus what is to be expected in the much-anticipated superhero team-up.
“[Humanity] has its moments, but it can be brutal, and her coming to terms with that dichotomy is what we come to learn about her,” said Snyder, who directed Wonder Woman in her big screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. “And in Justice League, she’s fully evolved into someone who’s embraced mankind, partly through Superman’s sacrifice. She’s like, ‘All right, I’ve got to pick it up.’”

Having made her big screen debut in last year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman will take centre stage this July as Warner Bros.’ unleashes the Amazon Princess’ first solo movie, and director Patty Jenkins (Monster) has been chatting to Empire about the film and its World War I setting.
“What motivates [Diana] is philosophical,” states Jenkins. “She isn’t just taking out bad guys or fighting crime. She believes in goodness and love. [She] is fierce and willing to fight, but only to protect a better vision for mankind. Hers is really a coming-of-age story.”
“My approach was to focus on telling the story of mechanised war and how that would look to a god visiting our world for the first time,”she continues. “[I wanted the audience to understand the horrors that a war on this scale makes possible and how shocking that would be to someone who comes with a strong sense of honour and justice. She doesn’t realise yet just how senselessly dark the world can be.”
