Storyline

"Sam Most, Jazz Flutist" is a comprehensive biography of Legendary Jazz Flutist Sam Most. From his early years growing up in New Jersey and New York to the inspiration of older brother Abe and childhood heroes such as Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Lee Konitz and Lennie Tristano we see the shape of things to come in the life of "The First Be-bop Flutist". "Sam Most, Jazz Flutist" is the exploration of a past which consisted of performing alongside such greats as Buddy Rich and Tommy Dorsey and recording with the likes of Oscar Pettiford, Percy Heath, Herbie Mann, Bob Dorough, Louis Bellson and Charles Mingus...to name a few.
