Trivia

One of Hideo Kojima's colleagues told him about and advised him to listen to stellastarr*, but Kojima heard "Starsailor". He liked the song "Way To Fall" and chose it as an ending theme. See more »

Goofs

Sigint says that the enemies will not attack Snake from the back when he's wearing the Cold War camo. Actually the enemies won't attack from the front, they will attack from the back. This should be obvious anyway, because this camo depicts the Soviet flag on the front and the US flag on the back (the enemies are Russians). Also, you get this camo by defeating Volgin by stamina depletion and Volgin can only be attacked from the back. See more »

A True Masterpiece
18 June 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater can be summed up in one word, perfect. Right from the very beginning to the very end, you go on this roller coaster ride of a video game. The graphics are amazing and the cinema tics are so incredible that you feel as if you are watching a movie. The group of villains that are in this game are the most colorful and the most bizarre in the series. One of the greatest things about this game is the music. The music is intense and emotional at the same time. The theme song is also another great thing about the game. The story may be the best in the series. It really brings everything together at the end. This is the best game in the series and Hideo Kojima has really created a true masterpiece.
