CBS’ Bull has a new man in charge… which sets the stage for a possible Season 2.
TV veteran Glenn Gordon Caron is taking over as showrunner of the freshman legal drama, according to a report from our sister site Deadline — but only if the series, starring NCIS alum Michael Weatherly as a high-priced jury consultant, returns for a second season. Caron will join Bull for the remainder of Season 1 as a consultant, with current showrunner Mark Goffman transitioning to a development role at season’s end.
“Bull” is getting a new showrunner in the form of television veteran Glenn Gordon Caron, Variety has confirmed. Caron is best known for creating the series “Moonlighting,” which was an early starring vehicle for Bruce Willis, and the supernatural drama “Medium,” which starred Patricia Arquette. The shows ran for five and seven seasons respectively.
The move comes as part of a multi-year overall deal Caron has signed with CBS TV Studios, which produces the one-hour drama. Caron will join the show immediately as a consultant on the remaining episodes of Season 1. Mark Goffman will continue as showrunner for the remainder of Season 1 before transitioning out to focus on development under his own deal with CBS TV Studios. Caron was previously set up under an overall deal at 20th Television, working as an executive producer on the FX series “Tyrant.” He is repped by Wme, 3Arts and Ziffren Brittenham.

Also, McGee and Bishop investigate a juicy rumor about Quinn and Torres."

Finally, Pride may be getting a personal life again.
But now, there's possibly a ray of hope for Pride on NCIS: New Orleans Season 3 Episode 16.
That ray is in the form of Rita Devereaux, an old flame of Pride's from about 25 years ago. Their marriages didn't work out, and of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she had to walk into Pride's.
Of course, she walked in because she wanted his help. More on the case later.
But I think there was a more than a little of her that wanted to see Pride again. And it turned out that Pride knew she was back in town, but had given her space, »

Alright, raise your hand if you ever thought the case of the triple homicide in Dinozzo's old apartment would ever actually be a major plot point in an episode?
Well, in NCIS Season 14 Episode 17, it was! And that's not even mentioning the fourth surprise corpse under the floorboards!
First off, let's set aside the fact that there is no way that McGee and his team would be investigating a shooting that he's involved in, as that sort of thing has happened in past episodes already. (With McGee, no less!)
And let's also ignore that the break-in at his apartment would definitely fall under the jurisdiction of the local police force, not NCIS, because there wouldn't be an episode otherwise.
The story itself wasn't very complex, but it did make for a fun sort of popcorn episode (mostly at McGee's expense).
It's unfortunate that furriers and taxidermists are almost always portrayed »

The Big Bang Theory prequel all about Sheldon Cooper has been picked up for a full season...
The Big Bang Theory's prequel series, which is set to focus on the early life of Dr Sheldon Cooper, has officially been picked up for a full season.
Deadline broke the news of Favreau's appointment and the full season order, as well as dropping some interesting info nuggets: Parsons, the original Sheldon actor, will narrate show; Lance Barber has been cast as Sheldon's dad; and the series will probably air side by side with The Big Bang Theory in autumn.
Talk about putting the meta in metaphysics: Laurie Metcalf’s real-life actress-daughter Zoe Perry is being eyed to play the mother of Young Sheldon in CBS’ in-the-works prequel spinoff. Metcalf, as you know, currently recurs on Big Bang as the mother of Adult Sheldon (Jim Parsons).
The untitled offshoot — which has yet to receive a formal pilot order from CBS — would center on a young Sheldon growing up in Texas. Parsons will executive-produce along with Big Bang co-creator Chuck Lorre and current showrunner Steve Molaro. »
