Yes, NCIS season 14 is going to look a bit different without Michael Weatherly's Anthony Dinozzo. But there are a couple of new faces (including one introduced last season) to fill the spots left in the team with his departure. One of them is Wilmer Valderrama, coming in as Special Agent Nick Torres. BuddyTV got the scoop from Valderrama at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 on what to expect from his character, his training and more.
There’s no big easy way to say this: Agent Pride’s team will be down a man when CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans opens Season 3.
TVLine has learned exclusively that original cast member Zoe McLellan, who played Great Lakes transplant Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody, will not be returning for the coming season.
The reason for McLellan’s exit was a creative decision, seeing as her character had been compromised in the Season 2 finale, due to her association with a Homeland Security agent who turned out to be a misguided zealot. »
Some of the biggest TV news to come out of San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend was the confirmation that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would see the debut of the Robbie Reyes incarnation of Ghost Rider, and now that things have died down a little, the second major casting addition has been announced.
Deadline reports that actress/director Lilli Birdsell (Geek Charming, NCIS: La, How To Get Away With Murder) will recur on season 4 as a character named Lucy. We don’t know exactly how she’ll factor into the story, but the trade does provide a few more intriguing details.
A beautiful woman with a haunting quality, [Lucy] has a very violent streak in her inner self, because of things that have happened.
From the sounds of that, this Lucy gal will definitely have some kind of superpowers – but is she an established Marvel Comics character? There’s »

Joining Gabriel Luna as Ghost Rider on season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be actress/director Lilli Birdsell (Geek Charming, NCIS: La, How To Get Away With Murder, Major Crimes) in a recurring role. According to Deadline she'll play a character named Lucy, who is described as "a beautiful woman with a haunting quality. She has a very violent streak in her inner self, because of things that have happened." Not a whole lot to go on, but from the sounds of things this Lucy will have some sort of superpower, and could possibly be Inhuman. As far as established Marvel Comics character go, the only "Lucy" that springs to mind is Runaways member Karolina Dean, Aka Lucy In The Sky - but that's a long-shot. What do you guys think? Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for its fourth season on September 20. »

With three new characters joining NCIS this season and only one vacated desk, “There’s definitely not!” room to fit them all in the squad room, Wilmer Valderrama joked during his visit with Michael Ausiello at TVLine’s Comic-Con studio presented by Zte.
In addition to Valderrama’s Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres, TV’s most watched drama added two other series regulars — Duane Henry, whose Mi-6 agent debuted at the end of last season, and onetime Blue Bloods crimestopper Jennifer Esposito (as Special Agent Alexandra “Alex” Quinn).

1 | On Girl Meets World, did Shawn and Katy’s engagement feel rushed given that we’ve never even seen them on a date? Or is that just something we have to accept if Rider Strong is only appearing in a couple of episodes per season?

About two years ago, I wrote a book on the films of Michael Bay. This unauthorized critical examination saw release in November 2014 under the title Michael F-ing Bay: The Unheralded Genius in Michael Bay’s Films. I knew I was throwing down a gauntlet with a provocative title like that and the reaction to that mere declaration. One troll kept loudly accusing me of writing the book so Michael Bay would hire me. He must have really liked this joke because he made it on several posts, across many websites that carried the announcement of my book. (The Broken Projector was one such outlet and I had a very interesting conversation with Scott Beggs about the book.) This suggested to me that not only did he have no understanding of how Hollywood worked, he almost certainly hadn’t read the book.
That question “Why would someone write a book about Michael Bay?” has »

With Mike behind bars when Suits returns tonight for season six, the USA Network legal drama will feel like a whole new show. But could it also be one that's winding down? According to star Patrick J. Adams, it just might be. E! News caught up with Adams at the Atx TV Festival in Austin, TX, where he admitted that this new direction for the long-running series feels like the show entering its twilight phase. "It kind of does, and I don't know if I get in trouble for saying that kind of thing, because who knows how long these things last, but ultimately, I think shows last usually a certain amount of time and our show isn't a CSI, and it doesn't have the words CSI or NCIS or whatever in front of it," he »
Did the CBS promo guy dupe us all?
Promos for this Tuesday’s Zoo warned us that by the end of the episode, “one of these people won’t survive.” And based on the flurry of faces that flashed on-screen, I surely was not alone in deeming General Davies as disposable.
But was team member Chloe the actual casualty…?
