Recently, CBS put out a news article on their website revealing that we’re about to see a new female agent join the NCIS crew for the upcoming season 15. It turns out that the show has decided to hire actress Maria Bello to portray an NCIS agent that was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army and served two tours in Afghanistan. Their article didn’t reveal the character’s name. So, I guess we’ll have to wait until later on or until she finally arrives on the show to get that intel. Maria Bello has joined the cast of NCIS as a new series regular for season 15 and will be introduced in the fourth episode.

Bello will play an NCIS agent, described as "a positive force, mischievous and at times acerbic," who was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the army and served two tours in Afghanistan. After joining NCIS, she built her reputation as the agency’s premier forensic psychologist. Unlike the other agents, she can second guess and challenge Gibbs (Mark Harmon), so there will be friction but also mutual respect.

NCIS: New Orleans” has tapped Emmy nominee Tree Adams as its new composer, Variety has learned exclusively.

Adams has previously worked on shows like “Californication,” “Lethal Weapon,” “Legends,” “In Plain Sight,” and “Franklin and Bash,” among numerous other film and television projects.

He has worked as a television, film and games composer for 20 years, having transitioned from a career as a touring musician. He spent 10 years on the road with his band The Hatters, touring extensively and playing with big names in roots rock and blues.

In June 2017, Watertower Music released Tree’s music as the Season 4 soundtrack to CW’s “The 100.” Also in 2017, Adams launched issue number one of his his graphic novel “Duskriders” with an accompanying soundtrack.

NBC is developing a drama series with Penny Johnson Jerald and Allison Abner among its executive producers, Variety has learned exclusively.

The series will be set in Baltimore and follows a newly elected African-American female mayor, her female chief of police, and district attorney as they work for the good of one of America’s most dangerous cities.

Abner and Jerald will both serve as executive producers on the project, with Abner also serving as writer. Tom Szentgyorgyi, who has written and produced for shows like “The Mentalist” and “NYPD Blue,” will also executive produce. Sheila Ducksworth and Lavern Whitt will also executive produce. Universal Television will produce.

The Flash Season 4 Trailer Drops, Neil Sandilands Cast As The Thinker

After The Flash‘s season 3 finale left everybody reeling upon seeing Barry Allen willingly enter the Speed Force in a sort of self-imposed exile, some fans were left wondering if he’d ever make his return. Well, we obviously will see more of series lead Grant Gustin, otherwise we wouldn’t have ourselves a TV show, but it looks like the producers are in no rush to arrive back at the status quo. Instead, it seems like they’ll let the story unfold organically.

That said, it didn’t come as much of a surprise seeing Iris West taking charge by emerging as the new leader of Team Flash, something we only recently learned would be happening. Furthermore, it looks like there’ll be a lot of emotional scenes shared between her and Cisco as they attempt to bring Barry back to Earth-1.

CBS head of drama Christina Davis is departing the company, Variety has learned.

Davis, who is currently on maternity leave, has elected to leave CBS following the arrival of twins last month.

Davis has held the position of head of drama for CBS Entertainment since 2007, and first joined the company is 1997 as an assistant.
