Great Show!
J_R_Cash31 March 2005
Even though she comes from a famous family, Giada De Laurentiis does a great job at showing us how to make delicious Italian dishes. I've tried a many a great recipes, and have never been let down. Sure, there are some that are better than others, I'll admit, but not one has been bad.

If your open to new experiences and your tired of fixing the same OL' thing for dinner each night go onto her site on Food Network and get the recipes. Honestly, there really isn't one I could pick to share w/ everyone its that good. And yes, some take a little longer than I would like, but the reward is greater in the end. So go check it out. Because my review doesn't do the show justice.

Giada is Delightful!

You'll love Giada. Sure she is a celebrity and comes from a famous family, but I like her! She makes delicious and mouthwatering food and she has a HUGE smile. In her earlier episodes she was a little bit drawn out and she barely ever smiled, now she is happier and always smiles and acts silly. I love her recipes and I like her personality. She and her husband, Todd seem to be happy together and fond of each other and I hope things work out for them.

Giada has great confidence when she cooked and she is definitely not phony. I like to watch her show and watch her do her thing when she cooks.

Excellent show!

A Roman goddess that cooks!

I love this show! Giada is so beautiful, so talented, yet she comes across like a grounded real person. Her smile and personality just knocks me out - it really does work for her.

I have to say that after watching her show for a number of years and trying her recipes really have opened my eyes and learned how to appreciate making good food and enjoying it. Each day, I watch her show and I'm just amazed at how simple, yet tasty her recipes are. I used to live in Italy when I was in the military and I fell in love with the country, the people and the food. I miss it terribly and watching "Everyday Italian" manages to bring a bit of that back in my life and I'm thankful to share that experience at home.

Mille grazie Giada!

Really, is it that good?

To me, a good creative meal while showing a little real personality is vital to having a successful cooking show. Well, Giada hit one of those points...and its not her personality. Watching her is unbearable. Its not realistic to get aroused by food. She seems like a nice person was my first thought on watching the show but as time went on she gave this big fake smile like everything is sooo great and perfect. On top of that when she bites into her own food its like she is almost climaxing. Really? I don't find it attractive, I find it annoying and overdone by her. Please stop trying to make food sexy. If you would like to watch a cooking show that teaches you some important rules for cooking while throwing in a couple of cheesy jokes. Go watch good eats. A much better option.
