Based in real Facts?

Warning: Spoilers
The plot of Volpone is based (I don't know if in real facts or not...) in a play written by Ben Jonson (1572-1687) with similar name and often regarded as his masterpiece, and is about a rascal who can't live without deceive other people by pleasure rather than for money. The film directed by Frédéric Auburtin has the correct timing for a TV motion picture. Gérard Depardieux give us an interpretation very theatrical (I don't know if by his own composition of the character or by orientation of Mr. Auburtin): observe the vocal intonation (usual in medieval actors when they had to interpret old people). The veteran Daniel Prévost in the role of "Mosca" ("Fly") gives firmness to the cast including Inés Sastre, former Spanish model, winner of Elite supermodel contest of 1989, adorning the screen, specially with her delightful smile. In a scale of 1(awful) to 10(masterpiece) I vote ofr 6(good).
