A vivid image of youths in Iran
mtavakoli5 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Probably this is one of the best Iranian film ever made. A story of three young Iranian-two boys and one girl-with three completely different lives and social classes but with one destiny, death. The film doesn't say anything about the past life of the characters, it doesn't explain anything and all of the questions remain unanswered. The point is not the answer to the questions, the director doesn't want to show just this case and and show a story-telling Cinema, he has made a general film about the current situation in Iran. It doesn't matter you are rich or poor, the destiny is the same. The image of death has been showed at the beginning of the film, Although the image is omnipresent but it has not shown explicitly any death during the film. The last sentence in the film, is said by the director itself as a pedestrian who gives an advise to the Aida and Mansour about it is better for them(us) to not to stay here, leave here.

Even though the film is excellent, it is difficult for non-Iranian to understand and find out all of the aspect of the film, because I think the key to understand the film is being in Iran.
