I guess back in the day people kept copying Halloween and Friday the 13th, for years after the fact (and maybe still?) but there have been oodles of "Scream" clones and that movie is far down the evolutionary scale from Halloween. And this is yet another Scream clone. I suppose it doesn't really take much to get a movie made these days if you know the right people, as is evidenced here. This is amateurish and seems like the script was written by a 14 year old. Strippers being stalked by some guy with NOT a Scream mask, but something pretty damn close. And he has a hatchet too, oooh. Seems like all these women live in the same apartment complex in Hollywood, they're all students that strip at night to make some bucks. One is even dating a cop, yeah, that all sounds plausible. There's a psycho on the loose too, some guy just released from prison early, for good behavior, and of course it's him, everyone thinks. OK. As one watches, one wonders if anyone cares if people with names like Brittany and Star get axed, and the answer is probably no, they WANT them to get axed. Anyway, this is plastic movie making at its worst, sanitized for your protection and not a scare to be found, unless maybe you've NEVER seen a horror movie in your life. There is a twist towards the end, but there's never any explanations given and the ending itself might just leave this wide open for a sequel? Whoa, now THAT'S scary. 3 out of 10.
