As dry as the desert.

SPOILERS....I saw this film on IFC. The only reason I bothered looking it up on here is because of the familiar face of Mr. Harrison Young. With the dry screenplay, this project should have never got off the ground. The son is left abandoned in a diner by his mother and an older man takes control of his life. There is no originality in the story...a child exploitation piece. I've always been under the impression that IFC caters to originality. Not so, in this case. D+
