"Hoteles" shows five different situation in five differents rooms in five different cities. The five "stories" have no story indeed. They are just based in formalism and photography. Probably this is the kind of director that would tell you that if you don`t like the movie is because you don`t understand it but truth is that a movie can depend just on photography and style. Aldo Paparella would be a great disciple of Gaspar Noe, no stories but formalism and sex (just trying to shock you).
