A chat show where only the host chats!
15 June 2003 | by See all my reviews

This is the worst chat show ever! The interview techiques Effie uses are terrible. She states facts about the guest, then asks them to elaborate, yet because she has told the audience everything, the guest is left with nothing to say.

Take for example the last episode where Jerry Springer was on. I have always thought it a bad mix to have Americans interviewed on Australian talk shows, due to them feeling superior and often rude, but this interview was extremely painful to watch. It shouldn't have been aired at all.

Overall, a terrible talk show, that they ripped of the very funny Jumars at no.42.

And whats the point of the parents and the brother. The brother isnt even greek and the parents hardly speak and when they do, its not even funny!

This shows seriously needs a overhaul on interview taxtics (read a page out of Andrew Dentons book!) or pull the plug and put something decent on.
