Ted Cruz Officially More Hated on Twitter Than Donald Trump

23 September 2016 1:36 PM, PDT | The Wrap | See recent The Wrap news »

It took about a New York minute on Friday for Twitter to pile on Ted Cruz for endorsing Donald Trump… the same man who not only made fun of the Texas senator’s wife but even suggested Cruz’s father helped assassinate JFK. As soon as Cruz hit “send” on his Facebook endorsement of Trump, it was no holds barred for Cruz’s critics. UnREAL Season 2 Episode 7 Review: Ambush

18 July 2016 11:01 PM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

That really didn't go down the way I thought it would.

On UnREAL Season 2 Episode 7, Rachel's actions finally had huge consequences and it resulted in her being put in hospital.

Let's talk about Rachel's reunion with Adam. It was a complete and utter dud. Adam seemed to think he could waltz back into her life and have her back in a New York minute, but people change.

Rachel: I never loved you, okay? Never.

Adam: You never loved me?

Rachel: I never loved you.

Permalink: I never loved you. Added: July 19, 2016

Rachel isn't in the same mind frame as she was last year. She's moved on. She's also a considerably more unstable. All season long, we've witnessed her downfall and everything really came to a head for her.

Adam isn't as great as he makes himself out to be. I can't have been the only one that shipped Radam last year, »

Matt Damon would jump at a superhero role… if Ben Affleck directs

13 July 2016 10:40 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

During the premiere of his new film Jason Bourne, Matt Damon was asked – for about the 100th time – if he has any interest in portraying a superhero on the big screen.

Previously Damon had suggested that he’d like to take on the role of Daredevil if Christopher Nolan was directing, and now he’s revealed that he’d jump at the chance of playing a superhero… if his good buddy Ben Affleck was behind the camera.

““I’d consider anything with the right director, but I can’t imagine there are any superheroes left, I think they’re all taken at this moment,” Damon told Irish Examiner. “If [Ben] was directing me, I’d jump on it in a New York minute. I’d love to work with Ben.”

Well, as it happens, Ben Affleck does have a superhero project on his upcoming slate, as he’s set to direct »

Will Matt Damon Join Ben Affleck's Batman Movie?

12 July 2016 4:12 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Will Matt Damon join Ben Affleck in the upcoming Batman Reboot? The actor is currently out making the rounds for his latest movie Jason Bourne. He has reunited with director Paul Greengrass for the fifth installment of that franchise, which is a pretty big deal. Inevitably, the subject of playing a superhero came up. And apparently Damon is not opposed to the idea, as long as his friend and Good Will Hunting partner is behind it.

Matt Damon was speaking with JoBlo during the course of his press tour, and revealed that he is actually open to playing a superhero. It just has to be under the right circumstances. Those circumstances just so happen to include his Bff Ben Affleck. Who just happens to be directing a new standalone Batman movie that he will star in and co-write. Here is what he had to say.

Matt Damon on Playing a Superhero: "[I Would if Ben Affleck] Was Directing Me"

12 July 2016 11:27 AM, PDT | | See recent LRM Online news »

How is it we've gotten this far into the superhero movie craze without actor Matt Damon joining in on the fun? The closest Damon has gotten is taking up the role of Jason Bourne in the Bourne series, which, let's be honest, isn't incredibly far from a superhero in how badass he is. But given the actor's age, what is the probability that we'll see him actually don the capes and tights of a DC or Marvel superhero this late in the game?

At the premiere of Jason Bourne, the latest in the Bourne franchise, he spoke to that question:

“I’d consider anything with the right director, but I can’t imagine there are any superheroes left, I think they’re all taken at this moment. If [Ben Affleck] was directing me, I’d jump on it in a New York minute. I’d love to work with Ben."

Matt Damon Open To Superhero Movie, But Only If Ben Affleck Is Behind The Lens

12 July 2016 8:39 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

There’s an old Hollywood adage that claims Matt Damon, star of The Departed, The Martian and, soon, Jason Bourne, hasn’t starred in a bad movie. But could the Boston actor ever dip his toe into the superhero genre?

Now that the industry is indulging in full-blown superhero pandemonium, with shared universes and spinoff movies crowding the release calendar long into 2019, it’s a point of discuss that is never too far from the conversation during press junkets. And sure enough, Damon was recently quizzed about the possibility of starring in a superhero feature by Irish Examiner (per Av Club).

To date, Jason Bourne is really the closest Matt Damon has come to assuming the role of a costumed hero, but the actor admitted he is open to the possibility on one condition: if Ben Affleck is behind the lens.

“I’d consider anything with the right director, but »

Matt Damon Is Eager To Play A DC Comics Hero Or Villain Under Ben Affleck's Direction

12 July 2016 4:18 AM, PDT | | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are Hollywood's greatest dynamic duo, and ever since Ben Affleck signed on to don the Dark Knight's cape and cowl for the DC Film Universe, fans have been wondering just how soon will it be until he brings in his longtime friend, Matt Damon, into the would of DC heroes. Well, it looks like Matt Damon is finally ready for the capes and tights, and all he needs is for Ben to give him the right role. "If he (Ben) was directing me, I’d jump on it in a New York minute," Damon told the Irish Examiner. "I’d love to work with Ben. The problem with Ben is every time he directs a movie, he gives himself the best role in it, so until he’s willing to give up the best role to one of his friends, we’re not going to get on with it. »

'Fuller House' Season 2: Is John Stamos Trying to Bring the Olsen Twins Back?

14 March 2016 7:56 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Ever since Fuller House was announced by Netflix, it was clear that most of the original Full House cast was coming back. It was soon revealed that the show will center on the widowed DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), whose sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) move in with her to help raise her children. When all was said and done, the show, which premiered on the streaming service last month, brought all of the original stars back except two, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, who both played the infant Michelle on the hit series. Now that the show has been renewed for a second season, it seems that star/producer John Stamos may be trying to bring the twins back.

Just a few days ago, John Stamos posted an adorable video from the set of the original series, featuring both of the twins, with the »

Ben Carson has all but suspended his campaign following a disappointing showing on Super Tuesday, telling supporters that he doesn’t see a “path forward” for his presidential campaign and will not attend the Gop debate Thursday night. It was hardly a shocker. Carson, who lead the Gop field for about a New York minute last fall, saw his poll numbers in free fall after a series of head-scratching, yet highly entertaining gaffes. Here's Why the Olsen Twins Refused to Return for 'Fuller House'

24 February 2016 4:11 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

One Olsen twin would have been better than none, but neither Mary-Kate Olsen nor Ashley Olsen accepted the invitation to return for the Netflix revival series Fuller House, which premieres this Friday. As it turns out, at least one of the sisters has a fairly decent reason for opting out of the reunion, which brings back the rest of the cast. The other one, not so much.

It's been known from almost the beginning that, while Tanner sisters DJ and Stephanie would be moving back to San Francisco, Michelle Tanner will not be making her presence known. But the reason behind the twins' decision not to participate have been a little bit hazy. Now, executive producer Bob Boyett has revealed the exact reason why neither girl is coming back. Some of their decision has to do with timing. But it's Ashley Olsen who actually had the best reason for not wanting to return. »
