Although it's end credits contain a 1991 copyright, could it be that the vast majority of this mistake is older than that? If so, a more-than-ten-year delay is appropriate. In fact, this should have NEVER reached the public eye. The premise had promise; but there's a rapid deterioration after the film starts. Project Adam is a scrapped U S government plan to create a human-like machine/soldier. Enroute to terminate the secret experiment, there's a wreck of the van containing the components, which are buried prior to the more public investigation of the crash. You guessed it - the droid is still functional, unearths itself and eventually is harbored by a household in Springfield, Illinois, in spite of efforts of assassins to exterminate the cyborg. Henceforth, many negatives apply: unprofessional acting; terrible dialogue; unrealistic reactions. Truly awful. Check this one out only if you're one of those "worst-movie-ever-made" seekers.
