Storyline

Different Places takes the unique point-of-view of looking at the lives touched after a suicide; the emotional wake of its aftermath. Focusing on three 'survivors' (Tommy, Doug, and Nicki), we are given a front row seat to the complex psychological effects that suicide has on those left behind. Guilt, anger, suicidal tendencies, and the taboo stigma of the 'act' are just some of the feelings explored in this powerful 24-minute short; winner of the 2002 BEST DRAMATIC SHORT at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival.
