Its a good thriller, with supberb acting
31 August 2003 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

This Scottish crime show has a huge following in Australia, and it upped UKTV's ratings when they decided to play the one episode starring Billy Boyd (Pippin from Lord Of The Rings) Boyd plays Jamie, a young man with Aspergers Syndrome, and his portrayal is very good, showing how diverse an actor he is. DI Stuart Fraser is good as the comic relief, and Jardine is a great hulking scottish detecive, the only problem being where did he get the tan and blond streaks from living in scotland??? The storyline is a clever, captivating one, about pirates and buried treasure, using the musical THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE and Jamie's current pirate obsession to link it all together.

Its a really clever cop show, WATCH IT NOW!!!
