After reading the comments that the last guy wrote... I had to make an entry on this post. This game is fascinatingly cool and for me... I think that the engine which is NOT strictly QUAKE because LUCAS taints every thing he touches ... LUCAS ARTS monstrosities are the worst games for any pc advocate to truly stand behind. The early games, I have owned and played quite a few. They were treacherously intoxicating because of the content, (lets face it... star wars is cool) but, LUCAS ARTS GAMES are impossible to install and play right away because of updates required for the game to work usually meant you needed to update directx and your drivers for sound, video and any other devices that the game was supposed to recognize for you. (motherboard BIOS) I just think that LUCAS ARTS need to tone it down a little bit with the propriety and knock hard code. The game is a LUCAS ARTS game and for ME personally it is by FAR their best effort compared to todays games. A+ to the LUCAS ARTS clan for creating a game that is finally easy to join multiplayer and easy (easier) to install (well sort of) and FINALLY I CAN DRIVE IN IMPERIAL FIGHTERS AND VEHICLES!!! So hats off to you for buying a great game if you have. It is easy to play and think of it as the LUCAS ARTS company's first effort ever to create a well rounded cool experience for becoming a jedi!!! (It helps psychologically) last of all I was not impressed by the story because it seems to have the dry sensibilities still hanging over the LUCAS clan imbedded in its story line and dialogue. I was however, delightfully surprised to see that Jason Marsden was the evil student in the game Rosh Penin. Pretty cool game for (again in my opinion) a first best effort.-JFR
