• Continuity: During the Village parody scene with the man with the knife in his heart, Cindy leans over and talks to him and winds up pushing the knife completely into his chest by leaning on him (before the second knife is put into his chest) so that no metal part is visible. In the next shot, the knife is back as it first was.
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: In the scene in "the Village" Holly comes into the church and for a long time, goes to the bathroom. Although she is 'actually' meant to be using the WC, her underwear remains up.
  
  
• Continuity: When Tom is walking around after the first alien attack, the camera shows him walking toward it with a guy in red behind him, next to a car. In the next shot, the man in red is gone.
  
  

• Miscellaneous: In the scene where Tom Ryan is getting in the car with his kids, and the guy is trying to get in the car but keeps opening the door too soon, the door alternates between unlocked and locked between shots.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: The Saw villain's tricycle features a straight handlebar when he enters the restroom. Next, in the shot with Zoltar, the handlebar is curved.

• Crew or equipment visible: When Tom opens his car door, you can see the camera reflected in the rear-view mirror.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: During the car door argument between Tom Ryan and Marvin, as they are busy arguing, the lock is in camera range. It is unlocked and suddenly jumps to locked and no-one caused it.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When the stabbed guy in bed tells Cindy about how the little boy got killed, and she starts remembering the incident again, look to the bottom left of the screen. The supposedly dead woman lying on the ring with her head leaning on the lower rope blinks.
  
  
• Continuity: As the two women approach Mile 62, the wheel covers on the convertible are different from when they first got the car.
  
  
• Continuity: When Cindy and Brenda find each other for the first time, Cindy's hair part is to the left. In the next shot, her hair is parted on the right, then back to the left.
  
  
• Errors in geography: Cindy and Brenda watches the news camera footage of Detroit before and after the tripod attack. But the city shown is actually San Diego.
