While this show never got huge ratings when it ran on ABC, the show is so well done that it would be a great thing to get out DVDs of this one. Jack Palance adds a persona to this series that is like no other as the host who at times puts such a great spin on a story that you almost can feel yourself gasp. Produced with the help of Jack Haley Jr. this was the ultimate Ripley series.

The haunting theme by Mancini & the openings & teaser promos with Palance doing his thing are great television. The co-hostesses shifted during the shows short run but even Jacks Daughter Holly takes a turn at it one season. It is a great way to get education & entertainment all in one well done package.
