tMF Featured Trailer: Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief!

(Note to self: Should keep an eye on young actor Logan Lerman!) I've watched Logan acting alongside Christian Bale in 3:10 to Yuma and man, he can act! But even before that notable role, I remember him as Bobby McCallister in Jack and Bobby - he was simply awesome! I think this guy knows how to make the transition from television to the big screen.

More on Logan: Logan Lerman decided that he wanted to be an actor at the age of two. He appeared in two commercials, and made his film debut in 2000's The Patriot. Lerman's role in the 2003 made-for-television film, A Painted House, won him a Young Artist Award for "Best Performance by a Leading Young Actor" in a television production.

Continuing his feature film work, Lerman appeared in Hoot, The Number 23, and 3:10 to Yuma. Later this year, Lerman will appear in the dystopian science-fiction film Gamer.

Fox tops in 18-49 for third straight week

John Grisham helped rescue CBS' flagging Sunday movie franchise last week, while the American Idol-boosted Fox captured the key 18-49 demographic for a third straight week as the May sweep got under way. A Painted House -- a Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation based on Grisham's best seller -- gave CBS its most-watched Sunday movie in more than three years, with 18.3 million viewers, according to figures from Nielsen Media Research. Its 4.0 rating/10 share in 18-49 was the best demo outing for the franchise since December's The Christmas Shoes. But the week ending April 27 pretty much belonged to Fox, which won four nights in 18-49 thanks in part to a special Monday hour of Idol that led in to the debut of Mr. Personality, a reality dating show hosted by Monica Lewinsky. Personality retained 92% of Idol's demo audience, and both shows ended up dominating the night. Overall, Fox won 18-49 with a 4.6/13, followed by NBC (4.3/12), CBS (3.4/10) and ABC (3.1/9). CBS dominated in total viewers (12.7 million), followed by NBC (11 million), Fox (10.3 million) and ABC (8.5 million).

CBS plows the competition with 'Painted House' party
CBS notched the most-watched movie of the season Sunday with the Hallmark Hall of Fame entry A Painted House, based on the John Grisham best seller about a farm boy's coming of age in the 1950s. CBS took the first Sunday of the May sweep in total viewers by a wide margin (15.3 million), while Fox prevailed as usual in the adults 18-49 demo (4.2 rating/12 share) with a double shot of The Simpsons from 8-9 p.m., according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research. NBC also flexed some muscle from 9-11 p.m. with back-to-back episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent but had little traction from 7-9 p.m. with America's Most Talented Kid and American Dreams.
