Gary Coleman Remembered In Today's Twitter-Wood

28 May 2010 4:00 PM, PDT | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

Gary Coleman's death stirred up posts throughout Twitter-Wood this afternoon, both with positive remembrances and commentary on the lifelong issues that childhood actors can face. Ashton Kutcher, Shannon Elizabeth, Tom Arnold and Eliza Dushku counted themselves among Coleman's fans, and many others acknowledged their appreciation for his work as Arnold on "Diff'rent Strokes."

John Stamos touched on the more serious issues in Coleman's in life in his Twitter note, and Ken Jeong and Jon Hurwitz both left simpler notes. Click on past the jump and you can find out who else posted about Coleman. Feel free to leave your own responses and memories in the comment section.

@TomArnold Rip Gary Coleman. He made my teen years funnier! Now I hope people will stop bullying him.

LeVar Burton's Phone Number, The iPad And Paul McCartney At The Hollywood Bowl In Today's Twitter-Wood

31 March 2010 12:58 PM, PDT | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

A minor Twit-pocalypse broke out yesterday when LeVar Burton accidentally posted his phone number to his account. It sounds like he had to get his number changed thanks to all of the incoming calls, but luckily for him, his old "Star Trek: The Next Generation" co-stars Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner were around to lend moral support.

Judging from the Twitter-Wood feed, everyone who wasn't calling LeVar was at the Hollywood Bowl to see Paul McCartney, and a few posted pictures from the event. Click on past the jump and you can see who was there, as well as what Damon Lindelof thought about "Lost" this week, what Tom Hanks looks like during location scouting and what Richard Kelly thinks of the iPad. It's all in Twitter-Wood for March 31st, 2010.

March Madness, Blockbuster Money Problems And 'Burke And Hare' In Today's Twitter-Wood

19 March 2010 1:00 PM, PDT | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

Bankruptcy rumors about Blockbuster were not met with sympathy from one filmmaker in the Twitter-Wood feed. Troma Entertainment's Lloyd Kaufman took the opportunity to sound off about his long-running dissatisfaction with the video rental giant, and he doesn't wish them well.

Elsewhere, Simon Pegg has been pushing forward with filming on "Burke and Hare," and he mentioned a scene location today that the movie will share with "Gladiator." Emmy Rossum geared for some March Madness basketball action, and Kat Dennings bought a spiffy new pair of boots. You can check those out after the jump along some of the weirdest sock monkey headgear ever to the grace this column in Twitter-Wood for March 19th, 2010.

Closing Ceremonies In Vancouver, Guru And 'Dancing With The Stars' In Today's Twitter-Wood

1 March 2010 6:01 PM, PST | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

Twitter erupted over the weekend news that Gang Starr Mc Guru suffered a heart attack that put him in a coma. Ice-t shouted out some support and shock about the incident, but the rapper's condition doesn't sound promising.

Meanwhile, reactions were all over the place during the closing ceremonies for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver last night. Jon Favreau wants to have a beer with Canada now that they're all over. Wil Wheaton was aggravated by NBC's cut to Jerry Seinfeld's "The Marriage Ref," and "Alive" director Frank Marshall just seemed happy to be there. Check out his picture from the sidelines after the jump, where you can also find out how a "New Moon" actor is doing with his diet and what Amanda Bynes will do if you start hating at her on Twitter. It's all in Twitter-Wood for March 1st, 2010.
