15 Outrageous Shonda Rhimes Moments: Best & Worst of 2014 (Video)

23 December 2014 9:46 AM, PST | The Wrap | See recent The Wrap news »

Without a doubt, 2014 was the year of Shonda Rhimes.

The ABC uber-producer took over the coveted Thursday night lineup and had viewers glued to their seats with “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,” and this year’s breakout hit, “How to Get Away with Murder,” all airing back-to-back.

ABC hasn’t stacked three shows by the same executive producer into one night since Aaron Spelling took over Saturday nights with “T.J. Hooker,” “The Love Boat,” and “Fantasy Island” back in 1982.

Michael Trucco To Play Abby's Abusive Ex On 'Scandal'

21 October 2014 9:00 PM, PDT | Uinterview | See recent Uinterview news »

Michael Trucco has been cast as Abby Whelan’s abusive ex-husband on ABC’s hit Washington, D.C. drama Scandal.

Michael Trucco On 'Scandal'

Trucco has landed the part of Charles Putney on Scandal, who beat Abby (Darby Stanchfield) when they were still married years prior, breaking her jaw and a number of ribs, reported Entertainment Weekly. Olivia (Kerry Washington) ultimately took matters into her own hands and attacked him with a tire iron.

As of yet, it hasn’t been revealed exactly what brings Charles to Washington.

Trucco is likely best known for starring as Ensign Samuel Anders on Battlestar Galactica and Justin Patrick in Fairly Legal. He’s also had recurring roles on One Tree Hill, Castle, Young Justice, How I Met Your Mother, Revenge and Criminal Minds. His last starring TV role was in the short-lived Killer Women.

Scandal Recap: “Like Father, Like Daughter”

17 October 2014 7:21 AM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

Important question for Scandal watchers: is there anyone who still wants Fitz and Olivia together, besides Fitz?  We know it's all he has left, as he has failed "as a father, as a husband, and as a man" (in his words -- but don't forget "as a President," too).  But is Fitz still defensible, or even likable, in any way?  When the two of them were alone together for the first time this season in the Oval Office, and "The Light" started to play, was anyone desperate for a rekindling?  Or instead, were we desperate to get to any other part of "Like Father, Like Daughter"?  Hit the jump if "we can do this later, I'm really wasted." There were three main components to "Like Father, Like Daughter," starting with First Daughter Karen's "dirtiest sex tape I have ever seen" (according to Liv).  After Karen gave her Secret Service detail »

'Scandal' Recap: Tom Turns On Jake, Frames Him For Jerry's Murder

16 October 2014 9:00 PM, PDT | Uinterview | See recent Uinterview news »

Olivia Pope came back to the White House to help the first daughter bury a sex tape, while Jake lost a battle with Command on Scandal’s “Like Father, Like Daughter.”

The First Daughter's Sex Tape

Jake (Scott Foley) is late for a dinner date with Olivia (Kerry Washington) after narrowly escaping a car bomb planted by Command (aka Rowan), who is now trying to kill him. Liv, trying to create a relationship with Jake, orders take-out for the strange pair, but their dinner is cut short when Liv gets an urgent phone call from Karen Grant, the President’s daughter.

Liv and Quinn (Katie Lowes) manage to get Karen (Mary Mouser) out of the rave party she’s passed out at without any eager attendees getting a photograph or recording a video on their cell phones, and, just as Karen thinks she got out without incident, she gets video text. »

Scandal Recap: Eiffel Tower of Terror

16 October 2014 7:44 PM, PDT | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

That, folks, was Season 2 Scandal levels of scandalaciousness.

I said here last week that the show seemed to be building momentum, to be about “something” as it is during its most entertaining, can’t-look-away times. And this week’s episode, which featured a provocative First Family drama, reignited the “Olitz” spark, gave us a Full Throttle Olivia Pope and, for good measure, dropped a humdinger of a final twist, was operating at high velocity.

Your Top Three: Michael Keaton Movies

15 October 2014 10:00 PM, PDT | Movies.com | See recent Movies.com news »

Your Top Three is a series here at Movies.com where we choose a topic and you give us your top three picks. Four years ago, Michael Keaton made a memorable appearance in the comedy The Other Guys, playing a police captain who also works at Bed, Bath and Beyond and unintentionally quotes TLC all the time. Between that and a vocal role in Toy Story 3, it appeared he was making a comeback. Well, maybe he can try again with the acclaimed new meta drama Birdman, in which he plays an actor making a comeback of his own. Keaton is in need of a comeback after many years of such uncool gigs as playing Dad to Lindsay Lohan in Herbie: Fully Loaded and to Katie Holmes in First Daughter (in which he's also the president, at least). This is a guy who went from Batman to snowman in...

Over the course of the last 15 years, Stephanie McMahon has infuriated the WWE Universe as one of top heels in all of professional wrestling. As the Billion Dollar Princess, she was a spoiled brat who used her father’s influence to get what she wanted. As Triple H’s wife, she was one-half of the greatest power couples in wrestling and as one-half of The Authority, she has ruled over her father’s company with an iron fist, making life miserable for several of the company’s top babyfaces.

But little is known about the young heiress to the WWE empire beyond what is seen in front of the cameras. What drives her? What roles did she play in her father’s company prior becoming a character on Raw and SmackDown? Did she have any vices growing up? Are there any moments from her career that she considers her favorite? »

Malia Obama Attempts To Be A Regular Teenager And Fails

4 August 2014 9:20 PM, PDT | icelebz.com | See recent iCelebz news »

First daughter Malia Obama tried her level best to be a regular teenager while hanging out with friends at Lollapalooza in Chicago. All the while in direct view of a secret service agent!

The 16-year-old was out having a good time with her friends, unlike the Jay Z-Beyoncé concert where the First Lady Michelle Obama insisted on chaperoning her.

The pictures that have leaked look really funny. There.s Michelle Obama hanging out with her friends, while a (not-so) Secret Serviceman keeps an eye on her. How do we know he is from the secret service? Well it is hard to blend in if you don.t even try isn.t it? And the secret serviceman didn.t even attempt to blend in the crowd, giving out a .don.t even try message. to everyone.

Well, message received!
