Storyline

Immediately after the events of Star Wars-Episode II: Attack of the Clones, the Clone Wars continue. The Separatists launch masses of Battle Droids while the Republic has an entire arsenal of Clone Troopers to blow them away. Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice Anakin Skywalker are also participating in the fights against Count Dooku and his defiant separatists. Jedi Masters Yoda and Mace Windu, take part in the battle as well. While down on Coruscant, Padme Amidala, Chancellor Palpatine, C-3PO and R2-D2 hope nothing but good for our heroes. Will the Republic emerge triumphant? Will Dooku and his separatists be brought to their knees? And will Anakin truly bring balance to the Force, or will he bring absolutely tyranny? Trivia

The series spawned a movie, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008), and a sequel series of the same name. Instead of being a complete reboot the new series expanded upon the original series as it provides backstory for reoccurring characters, and added new elements to the Star Wars Universe. However, in 2014, Disney updated the Star Wars timeline making the new series official canon. Some have argued this series is considered canon as it takes place directly after Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) and ends at the beginning of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005). Best of Star Wars
21 September 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is a short and quick review, and my personal opinion. This show to me is without a doubt, the best thing ever, that has the Star Wars name on it. Period.

After watching this, I was all excited to see the final movie, Episode 3. And... Obiwan kills Grevious in like 5 seconds in a lame ass fight. I was traumatically disappointed. Whats the point of the cartoon series, where they hype up the villain to be a major threat, only to just kill him off like a total wuss?

Im not a big Star Wars fan, or even a fan at all. But this series was great. If you haven't seen it, then you owe it to yourself to check it out. Its very worth it, much more than any of the movies.
