OK, this is a tough one to call. The box says something like "Pulp Fiction meets Day of the Dead" and for want of a better description, that's kind of close. But was this meant to be a "serious" movie or was this meant to be as campy and stupid as it is? It's seriously hard to tell. I guess it's filmed in the high desert country in Oregon, which is truly beautiful. Some of the acting is overly hammy, to the point of cartoonish, including the head zombie dude that's always drooling, and the hit man called "Judas" that has the ultimate bad haircut and teeth like Bugs Bunny. I would like to think that this was pretty "tongue in cheek" but it's almost impossible for me to tell. Either this is an exercise in total campiness or Ed Wood Jr. has been reincarnated and is at it again. Considering the zombies in this film, and they way they move about, I'd almost guess this was meant to be deliberately funny, but considering how many "serious" attempts at movie-making I've seen that were unintentionally hilarious, like I think I said before, it's just too difficult to tell. Worth seeing, just for curiousity's sake.
