Plot Summary

Dr Vidya Bushan devotes his life to a temple after his wife is killed and son is kidnapped buy Zalim Singh and someday hopes to unite with his son.Years later a wounded bandit Sher Singh comes to the temple Vidya Bushan nurses and takes care of him and also hides Sher Singh from cops and tells the villagers that he is Amrit.Amrit (Sher Singh) is thankful to Vidya Bushan for nursing him he meets village girl Shalu and falls in love with her but his true intentions are to loot the treasure hidden in village which is under guidance of Vidya Bushan.Sher Singh's boss Zaalim Singh sends him a message asking him about the whereabouts of hidden treasure and tells that if he is unable to find about it he will have to return back in ten days.Upon reaching the temple Vidya Bushan asks Sher Singh to give life of bandit and he has change of heart.But Sher Singh is unaware that Shalu is waiting to revenge her fathers killer whose none other then Sher Singh.
