Storyline

Vishal (Rishi Kapoor) comes from a wealthy Hindu family. His father is well known Chandraprakash Singh (Amrish Puri), and his mom is a housewife, Sharda (Asha Parekh). Vishal falls in love with a young Catholic girl, Ruby Miranda (Farha). While Ruby's dad (Alok Nath) approves of the marriage, Chandraprakash does not, and will not even hear of his son marrying someone not of equal status in wealth, leave alone a different religion. He is all the more enraged when he learns that Vishal is not really his son. Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)

Good Movie Wrong name
11 July 2016 | by (United Arab Emirates) – See all my reviews

This is a classic example of a movie failing just because the name of the movie is misguiding. This is a beautiful love story with excellent music and all the right ingredients of making a super hit love story. If only the movie had been given a proper name , it might have been a super hit love story movie. Just don't miss this one ,the songs are all very good with nice lyrics , the acting of Rishi Kapoor & Farha is top class. Mohd Aziz,Anuradha Paudwal are at their best with soulful tunes by Laxmikant- Pyarelal, and the movie is made by none other than father of Amir Khan. The location and photography add to the mood of the movie. It should have been Hamara Pyaar
