Did You Know?

The makers wanted to use "London Calling" by The Clash, but couldn't afford the rights. Director Kevin Allen got hold of fellow Jack*, Martin Ace of "Man", to write "Destination London" instead. (*native of Swansea).

Original director Harald Zwart quit after disagreeing with the studio over the amount of budget allocated to the film (only $1 million more than the first film). Harald Zwart wanted to use a lot of CGI effects which would have brought the budget up to about $30 million, a figure that MGM (rightly) deemed to be too high.
