In addition, the ABC said it will get a first-look option on a range of new programming distributed by FID and access to its back catalog. "'The Bill' is one of our top-rated programs, and our audience will be pleased that the latest development -- the specials focusing on the lives of various 'The Bill' characters -- will also be screened on ABC TV," ABC TV programming head Marena Manzoufas said. "This new deal also offers the network an extensive catalog of additional programming from an array of highly respected program makers as well as great, classic Thames programming."
