EX-tremely pointless?
2 September 2003 | by (Bristol, CT) – See all my reviews

Instead of your standard get-to-know-you dates, it's one dater with an earpiece listening to remarks/barbs of the other dater's two exes. To win a prize they are supposed to sway the other dater; little bit mean spirited there. Hell, as if dating wasn't difficult enough! The groups of two exes' comments are often times funny. When they are women, I can see how their bluntness and brutality about the guy can be useful to the game. But I so don't understand the male exes. Usually the women are so amazingly hot, the male dater couldn't care at all what her exes say. One major plus, is that every segment has a hot-tub scene with women in bikinis. One mixed blessing, Jillian Barberie is a hot, hot, HOT host, but so friggin' ANNOYING! Why couldn't they get Aisha Tyler after she left "the 5th wheel?" At least she's hot *and* funny!

This is near the bottom of the barrel of dating shows, but it still has entertainment value (a hell of a lot more than Taildaters).
