When filming the scene where the van goes in the water, the crew had to hire a helicopter to look at the water to make sure no manatees were present. It turned out that manatee do not like noise and the noise from the film crew was enough to keep them away anyway.

I bought this movie on DVD. I really enjoyed it. I think the leads were great as well as the supporting cast. I love the scenes in the diner because it really shows how guys behave. They are interested in women but also dessert. The two friends from work are awesome and great comic relief. They both cried like true friends during the conclusion of the movie and it was touching. I expect to see great things from them in the future. I grew up in Miami and enjoyed seeing some places where I lived, worked and socialized. It was a nice testament to the fact that it is hard to find love in Miami but nice people but will find each other.
