When Dan gets home from the gym, there's no sign of his wife. The phone rings. An ominous voice tells him that if he wants to see his wife again, he will have to deliver £10,000 to the kidnapper within one hour. But for Dan, collecting the cash and making the ransom drop turn out not to be as straight-forward as he might like, as the day takes an increasingly surreal path. Written by Anonymous

For 48 hours, it's amazing!
8 November 2008 | by (Bradenton, Florida) – See all my reviews

My score of 8 is based on the fact that this film was made within only 48 hours as part of a contest challenge. I've seen a few other films made with such parameters and several (including this one) have blown me away with their polish and professionalism. The product looks like it took longer to make and shows that the director, actors and crew are really talented folks! The film begins with a woman being held hostage in a dark room. Her husband is called by the kidnappers and he's told to bring the money to a certain location within the hour or she will be mutilated. So, he rushes there and makes it on time...but no one shows up to collect the money! What happens next is a clever little twist and you'll just have to see it for yourself.

Overall, a very good product and a film that is sure to entertain.
