Though the film is set in 1985, the United Airlines plane shown at the Rhode Island airport is painted in a color scheme that was not used until the mid-1990s.

When Agent Divine is watching the dog in the kennel in Hollywood you can see a red chewing toy next to the dog. In the next shot of the dog the toy is gone.

Revealing mistakes
