Glenn here for more fun and games. Can you guess the movie from the first shot after the credits and the final line of dialogue?
The last shot was of the film's lead actress so that was a no-no. Instead, we'll go with the final words spoken.
"...I'm a musician. Just a chick in a band. And you know what? It's f**king cool!" »
Tis' a dark and stormy night, as Seargeant Jeff Turley (Enver Gjokaj) prowls his home, looking for hidden insurgents. He's reliving his worst nightmares from Iraq, and almost shoots his ten year old son in the process. It's obvious he's suffering from Ptsd, but he keeps claiming it's not post war stress that's making him take up arms against the night. Someone is trying to kill him. The army calls in Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) and Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams) to suss out the fact or fiction behind Sgt. Turley's claims that someone is still after him, long after leaving the battlegrounds. They meet Turley in the Va hospital, in restraints, and it only takes Lightman a few minutes to know that the man is disturbed, but truthful. Yes, Cal Lightman is That good. Back at the Lightman Group HQ, Torres (Monica Raymund) and Loker (Brendan Hines) are setting up observation outside the cube, »

Day 4 of ShoWest has been the longest one yet. But it has also been the most exciting. Today during Warner Brothers' presentation of their upcoming films, they showed footage of Christopher Nolan's upcoming thriller Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio. They revealed a bit more of the plot but it was still hard to follow exactly what the storyline is. Leonardo leads a team of security people who go into people's dreams to "guard their subconscious". Here is a quick list of some of the scenes they showed: Leonardo and Ellen Page walking down a long hallway. A scene with Joseph Gordon-Levitt telling Ken Watanabe about what it is Leonardo does. Another scene that looked like something out of a Modern Warfare game. Guys dressed in white military outfits battling on a snow capped mountaintop. One scene showed Ken in military gear tossing a grenade through a window. Another scene »
One of my favorite movies at Sundance in 2009 was Antoine Fuqua's cop drama "Brooklyn's Finest," which finally hit theaters last week. One thing I've noticed about the movie since that Sundance cut is a small yet significant change made to the ending. When MTV's Josh Horowitz spoke to Fuqua recently at the film's press junket, I requested that he ask about the ending and why it was changed.
"That ending was an experiment," Fuqua said. "The Sundance cut was a chance for me to put the movie in front of a real audience. It wasn't done at all, by far. Everything is temporary. What it did was it allowed me to watch it with an audience reaction and then go back and go to my original notes, and then follow... again why I wanted to tell the story which dictated that ending."
This is all pretty vague so far, »
