And the result is this music video to Marylin Manson's 1996 record "Anti-Christ Superstar". Just like director E. Elias Merhige's short film "Din of Celestial Birds", this film looks incredible experimental. It's completely black and white, which goes nicely with the contrast between Manson's heavy white makeup and his black hair. There's lots of light effects and shock value as in all of Manson's work. Apart from the sections, where we see Manson himself, one could probably describe it as Brakhage meets "Un chien andalou". In finding out if you like it, it's certainly inevitably connected to your interest (or lack thereof) in Marylin Manson's music as the song's bass and singer's voice just keep slashing relentlessly against your eardrums from start to finish in these slightly under six minutes.
