Trivia

The Ms. Hancock-Major Gunns match, playing off of Gunns' military gimmick as part of Misfits In Action, was a "Rip Off The Camouflage" (ROTC) mud-wrestling match. The match went to a no-contest due to Ms. Hancock supposedly suffering an injury due to being "pregnant." That was apparently supposed to have led to head writer Vince Russo claiming to have been the "father" of Stacy/Ms. Hancock's (they went back and forth on what to call her) "baby." Then Ric Flair would have announced that Stacy was the "product" of an "affair" he had "had" some 20 years earlier, which would have made her and David "half-siblings." This was scrapped, along with the "pregnancy" angle in general, and she was made into Shawn Stasiak's valet in WCW's final dying months. To add to the stupidity of the match and subsequent angle, announcer Tony Schiavone said that it "was not part of the script" and that he had to "break character." See more »

Quotes

Disco Inferno- The Filthy Animals: [Before the four-corners tag team match involving Kronik, Misfits In Action, the Natural Born Thrillers and the Perfect Event] I'm the in-ring official, Rey, Tygress, and Juvi are the ringside enforcers, and if any of you bums lay one hand on any of us. Not only will you be suspended, and not only will you be heavily fined... but I'll have your asses wrestling polar bears in North Alaska for the next six months.

Average stuff
28 February 2015 | by (Czech Republic) – See all my reviews

1. 3 Count Vs. Jung Dragons - Very good opener. This bout wasn't a best ladder match of all time, but was exiting. 3 Counts won. 8.5/10

2. The Great Muta Vs. The Cat - Predominantly Martial arts match. Average. 6/10

3. "Positively" Kanyon Vs. Buff Bagwell - Judy Bagwell was on the forklift like a "goal". I hope it is her last appearance, she is annoying almost like the fact, that most innovation wrestler - Chris Kanyon again jobbed to that comedian Buff Bagwell. 4/10

4. WCW Tag Team Title Match: Champs-Kronic Vs. Misfits in action Vs. Mark Jindrake/Sean O'Haire Vs. The Perfect Event - Kronic retained in a OK match. 7.5/10

5. Strap Match: Kidman Vs. The Franchise - Wow, Kidman beat Douglas, surprising. 7/10

6. Major Gunns Vs. Miss Hancock - Better than their last PPV's thing. 6/10

7. The Demon Vs. Sting - Squash. 5.5/10

8. WCW. U.S. Heavyweight Title Match: Mike Awesome Vs. Champ-Lance Storm - Jacques Rosseau changed 4 time the rules of the match during it, so Lance Storm looked weak there, cuz Awesome would be winner 3 times in a normal way, but match was given to Lance. But was great either. 8/10

9. WCW Tag Team Title Match: Champs-Kronic Vs. Vampiro/The Great Muta - Harris Brothers caused, that Vampiro and Muta won the belts 6/10

10. Kevin Nash Vs. Scott Steiner Vs. Goldberg - How could that out of shape Big lazy won over Steiner, I couldn't get.Match was ridiculous. He sucks hard in the ring. 3/10

11.WCW World Heavyweight Title Match: Jeff Jarrett Vs. Champ- Booker T.

  • Quite good, but nothing special. Booker retains. 7.5/10
