Bret Hart defeated Bill Goldberg by submission when Roddy Piper came out and called for the bell as soon as Hart locked in the Sharpshooter, similar to the Montreal Screwjob. This match is also notable for the multiple concussions Hart received, which ultimately led to Hart's retirement the next year and subsequent stroke in 2002.
