Karen is a young girl living in an orphanage. She has a hard time accepting the death of her only brother, and every night she talks about the world she thinks he is really living in; a special world where he may be able to trick death and come back to her. Written by Nikolaj Feifer
This is one of the movies that was most talked about this year in many circles.
It has the probably youngest ever debuting film director in Danish film history, Nikolaj Feifer, who at the age of 20 has solely produced this film without any financial support from the Danish Filminstitute, that just about all films coming out of Denmark these days has received support from. Many people refer to Feifer as a young Nils Malmros, but he is definately his own person. He and Malmros both origin from the same town, Aarhus, but that is about it.
About the film: It is about a little girl, living in an orphanage. She has a lot of nightmares about her dead brother, and her future is very unknown. More could be said, but it would spoil too much, so I simply recommend you see this movie.
