Originally brought in to interview as DP, Royce Allen Dudley was hired as director. After pre-production and rehearsals, he had a spat with the Executive Producer and was fired. Within days, at the urging of the writer/ star, he negotiated coming back as DP, and shot the film under first time feature director / veteran stuntman Jimmy Nickerson.
