This is a classic: story of a bachelor who is forcibly married to a mentally unstable girl, played marvelously by Urvashi. Jayaram's character & portrayal are both very fine they induce humor.

The first half is full of slapstick & comic dialogs. How the marriage goes horribly awry is enacted by the lead actors. Supporting cast is amazing, and all the characters have a humor tint. KPAC Lalitha does a good job as a mother. Every time this movie is shown on TV, I make sure I grab the memorable scenes wherein Urvashi goes irate after her suitcase goes missing. And when it is found out, she brags about its contents: her first toothbrush, her mango stone, her first frock, etc. The scene is so brilliant, its thought makes me laugh.

Although the plot takes a dramatic turn towards the end, it will be one of the finest films of the lead pair.

BOTTOM LINE: Highly Recommended!
