The literal translation of the title is: First Seduction.
Divorce was not generally accepted in Chinese tradition and the legal measures regarding divorce and associating matters such as child support thus lags behind, because divorce was not a common occurrence in China. Since 1990's, there was a sharp increase in divorce and the need for updating the family law became urgent in China. The protagonist in this film is the victim of such legal inadequacy.
