A young man moves back to the wilds of upstate NY after his parents die and leave him property. He's apparently got several renters living on the property too. The man was in a car accident some time back and was forced to do things to survive that he never quite recovered from, and now that he's trying to start a new life he's left those things behind, or so he hopes. OK, well, he was forced to eat his passenger and I guess once you've dined on human flesh you never lose your taste for it? And while this man is really trying to be a good vegetarian he's failing miserably. So being that this is a rural area and that his neighbors are less-than-upstanding citizens, he feels it will be OK to stock his freezer with them. This is sometimes surreal, sometimes humorous, but it has a aura of cheesiness to it that it never quite rises above. Gore galore, for sure, but not quite the chops to pull off the "black comedy" thing. I guess some will like it more than others, I give it a 6 out of 10 and definitely an "E for Effort" but to me it didn't quite make it.
