A Better Than Average Behind-the-Scenes Series, 17 July 2005
Author: Amie-Lynn from Edmonton

I like finding out the behind-the-scenes stories of movies. But mostly they are just bland mini-commercials for the films themselves. This series starts at the very beginning. You get insight from the authors of the stories, the changes that were made, the compromises that were required, the troubles along the way, and the making of the final product.

I've so far seen this show several times but it has always impressed me. I've seen the page to screen stories of "Field of Dreams", "Dances With Wolves", "The Road to Perdition", "The Silence of the Lambs", "The English Patient", and "L.A. Confidential". And even for the movies that I didn't love as much as the others the story behind them was very fascinating to watch.
