This year, according to TV scene, was going to be hilarious! So many new comedy shows coming on TV to make us laugh. Well so far we have basically had three. Skithouse, Welcher and Welcher and this. With the exception of Welcher and Welcher I haven't laughed at all.
All this has been done before. They are doing what Fast Foward and Full Frontal made an art out of, unfortunately they suck at it severely. The canned laughter (which I always hate) sounds so terrible it is amazing. I think they actually bothered to get there own canned laugher machine jigger with Australians laughing. It sounds terrible.
But the worst thing about the show as I said is it's not funny. In the blurb thing in the paper about it it said that the characters in the show will become staples of Aussie culture for years to come like The Man Who Says Sausages. Wrong. The very fact that all the characters on the show are parodies of real people contradicts this.
