I had the opportunity of seeing the movie yesterday (I borrowed the video from a Shop) and I was really impressed how good the film was. The pace is fast, the delivery of the dialog is well said, and full of tagalog idioms.
The movie was comprised of the best and finest actors and actresses of the Philippines then and now. The patriarch is led by multi-awarded Eddie Garcia, who has been in the industry for more than 4 decades. Followed by the late Dindo Fernando, Ronaldo Valdez (known as the arch-rival of Sadek in 'Banawe'), Tommy Abuel and Mark Gil (Batch '81).
The ladies include Hilda Koronel (Maynila: Sa Mga Kuko ng Liwanag), Gloria Diaz (Miss Universe 1969), Amy Austria, Beth Bautista and the ever beautiful Jackie Lou Blanco who now concentrates in weight management and body building.
For those who want to know and learn more about Philippine Cinema, this is film is highly recommended.
