The literal translation of the title of this film is: Mining the Sun
This movie is actually a piece of criticism work on the government: many local government only concentrates on making quick money by means of opening up coal mines, but safety measures are completely ignored as a mean of saving the investment cost.
The movie indirectly reminds everyone that in the process of saving cost, basic safety requirement should not be ignored. Fearing such sensitive topic would offend the government and resulting in banning of this film, the indirect approach of depicting the interactions of two brothers are used to pass the censorship.
