For the Atari 2600, remember that? 27 games featuring Tank, Tank Pong, Biplane, Invisible Tank, and Jet Fighter. Tank was kinda dumb, but Tank Pong was wacky and different. These tanks shot these pellets at each other and if hit by 'em, they suffer a dramatic SPIN. Invisible Tank was at least a better challenge. Sometimes you can shoot through the walls, which was fun. The biplanes and jet fighters were probably the saving grace of "Combat." The controlling of the different vehicles got confusing, and the speed of them varied even more (tanks go SLOW, jets go FAST). Even for it's time though the graphics were weak. My thoughts on this childhood pastime game were that it was a piece of crap. Well, it still is, but ultimately it is a fond memory.
